KELLY BUCKSEY

I am a Perth based photographer and digital retoucher. Shooting everything from people to architecture to food and events.

I grew up in England until I was 11. Moving to Perth with my family in the early 90s. And apart from living in Sydney for a year I have lived in Perth ever since. I have worked in the photography industry for over 19 years, shooting, assisting and retouching. I love what I do so it never feels like work. I have assisted on big campaigns, celebrity shoots and lots of cookbooks. I myself photograph everything from architecture – which includes interiors and exteriors for both residential and commercial clients. Aswell as food, people, headshots, products and events. I am also a digital retoucher and am a whiz on photoshop. In the 19 years I have been working I have also become a wife to Jamie and a mother to our 2 young sons Iggy and Fox.

I own a studio on Beaufort Street, Perth (just on the outskirts of Mt Lawley/Highgate) its just behind my husbands hair salon – Off Chops Hair. But I can photograph jobs all over the perth CBD and surrounding suburbs.

I love to travel for work and pleasure and have been very lucky to be able to go around the world. Photography is my passion and I am happiest when I’m behind the lens.
